Visual Cinematic Development

Context

This is a project made for the subject Visual Cinematic Development.
The subject focuses on developing interactive cinematic experiences using different cinematographic aspects to guide the player.

The Project

For this project, I used several cinematographic aspects to enhance the cinematic experience and guide the player. Below, I explain how I incorporated these elements:

Repetition

Repetition in the trees on both sides tunnels the player forward.

Light

Lights in the distance attract the player’s attention and indicate the correct path.

Contrast

The contrast between the path and the surrounding landscape highlights where the player should walk, emphasizing the curve to the right.

Movement

Using a boar, I guide the player toward the right side of a sign.

Rule of Thirds

A captivating shot at the start of the game shows the correct starting path to the player.
